Art Club
The mission of the club was to teach students the art of air-brushing. Students gave up their lunch period to continue tolearn about art, create art, and enrich the school environment and community through art making. They learned valuable lessons about art, culture, entrepreneurship, teamwork, work ethic. Stusdents made friends and were able to build their self-esteem by creating successful works. The outcome for the art club was to have each student develop their own fashionline brand and create a line of clothing to be debuted ina fashion show. They also were going to create an e-commerce website to showscase and sell their wares. Due to time constraints we fell short in accomplishing these components. Next year we hope to reach this goal so students can create, display, and sell the clothing they create. Even though the art club was designed to allow students an opportunity to learn about airbrushing, many times students just wanted a cool space and extra time to work on their art projects. However, take a look at some of their accomplishments students have made with air-brushing thus far.
