AFRICAN-AMERICAN HEROES
In this lesson students learned about African-Americans that have made significant contributions to history and society. They learned about proportion using the grid method. Students were asked to select an African-American that they admire or wanted to learn more about. This person would be used as their point of focus. Students began with a smaller image of their person and were expected to increase the scale of this image.
