ENOUGH VIOLENCE PHOTOMONTAGE

In this lesson students learned about Social Commentary art  and the art of photo montage. They learned how art can raise awareness of and change issues within society. To tackle this concept students focused on the art of Pedro Reyes.  They analyzed, viewed, and discussed his work.  This allowed them to view art similar to that in the Enough Violence Exhibition.  Students created spent 2 weeks creating their photo montage and later took a trip to the Society for Contemporary Craft to view the exhibition.  View some of our trip by clicking here!
