CONCENTRIC CIRCLES

In this lesson studentslearned about Wassily Kandinksky and abstract art. They learned how music inspired Kaninsky's work and how it can inspire their work. Students also learned about how colors can represent emotions and affect someone's mood. They learned about concentric circles and equidistance.  After several discusiions students were asked to complete an abstract painting similar to Kandinsky's painting of concentric circles.
